Curriculum Vitae

In 2000 Ali Akbar Zarezadeh completed his degree in the Master of Science in Electronic Engineering at the K.N.Toosi University of Technology-Tehran-Iran. His master thesis was Hardware/Software design of an instrumentation network based on SJA1000 CAN (Controller Area Network) controller and CAN application layer. From 04/2000 to 09/2004 he worked in the R&D group of the SCADA department of MATN NIROO Company in Tehran as hardware designer of Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) based on the 68K Motorola Microprocessor and VMEbus. From 09/2004 to 12/2007 he worked in the dispatching department of Kerman Tablo Company (KTC) in Tehran as developer of Inter Center Communication (ICC) subsystem in KTC SCADA package for the data exchange between several utility control centers and also software design of PersiaC RTU. Since Feb 2008 he has been working as scientific assistant in the department of computer science at the University of Potsdam under supervision of Prof. Christophe Bobda on Potsdam Intelligent Camera System (PICSY) project. This project has been commenced since Feb 2008 and now seems to work. Now it is possible to exploit Linux OS (OE) to run OpenCV C++ image processing library on it together with the power of TAO (CORBA) technology.
